This chair is the best chair I have had in a while. I sometimes work from home and I was reluctant to purchase a high priced chair. After much internal struggling and back pain, I went with the Fern. Initially, I was going to purchase the chair on the Haworth website and it was priced $1200. I decided to just check amazon for the sake of it and the same chair was here for $960 shipped from Haworth themselves. Great deal compared to the official website!The chair comes fully assembled with about a millions layers or cardboard and wrap. I went with the full lumbar support as I have a lot of lower back problems and it has been great. The lumbar support is super aggressive but I love it. The chair can be customized to your liking from the arm placement to the seat depth to the tilt angle. The Flotsam material that they use is basically yarn made from recycled material and I thought it would be itchy like wool but it's surprisingly soft and comfortable.The chair itself has really surprised me. I went into the chair kind of being pessimistic because I always thought that $1000 chairs were just hype and unnecessary. I was looking for issues and the Fern has provided none so far. I am really happy with this purchase.Chair was comfortable and great looking! Although, I had a couple issues with the chair being damaged during shipping, so I contacted customer service with these issues and they SENT ME A WHOLE NEW CHAIR within a few days! The Haworth representative was very fast to return messages and was greatly concerned about my happiness with the purchase. I ultimately decided to return the second chair, as the Fern just wasn’t for me, and quickly received a full refund, they even sent me a new box for the chair to go back in. Due to the excellent customer service, and overall reputation of Haworth, I purchased the Zody chair and it seems to fit my needs better. Don’t hesitate to purchase a chair from Haworth as they are a top notch company with a quality product and even higher quality customer service team. Not to mention their chairs are the most aesthetically pleasing on the market.
