This is a very comfortable chair and both of my 20+ year old sons loved it. It took over an hour to assemble it, at a steady leisurely pace. Once assembled my sons tried it out and loved it. I tried it and found that I have to arch my back and neck, backwards in order to make contact with the headrest. Obviously this is highly uncomfortable, so I have had to purchase a separate neck pillow from another company. Waiting for that to arrive now. The arm rests are detachable, but need to be secured with the screws provided, otherwise they fall off. Which means that you either choose to have no arm rests or ones that are attached. There are chrome inserts on the arm rests which look very nice, unfortunately since I prefer to have the armrests attached to the chair, these chrome inserts have to be removed to allow for the screw fitment. The fitment protrudes slightly and does not allow the chrome inserts to fit back into the arm.I also chose to purchase separate wheels for the chair from another company. I didn't have to, since the chair comes with the standard type castors, which in a regular office would be more than adequate. However, this chair is sitting on standard carpet and the wheels that I have used instead are able to glide over the carpet easily. So, all in all, the chair is strong, generally well constructed, my sons found it to be very comfortable, though for me, my upper back and neck prefer to differ. On the bright side, it is a great chair for the money. Stitching, depth of cushion, lumbar area all seem ergonomic. I am 5 ft 9 inches. My feet just contact the floor in the chair's lowest position. My sons are 6ft 2 and 3 inches, they have no trouble with squarely placing their feet on the floor. However, I am using an old computer desk that has a raised base that I can put my feet on, likely 2 inches off the floor and this solves my problem. It is a quality chair, just having to tweak it to suit me. Hope this helps?Seriously, put a sticker that says Front on the underside of the chair. That way I don’t have to guess for a half hour which side should be the back. One of the main things I like about this chair is how big the seat is. I like to sit with my feet under me sometimes and there is plenty of room for that. I am 5'8 and 240lb range and it is able to support my weight without issues BESIDES the arm rests. The arm rests don't appear to be as sturdy. Even though they feel secure, you can move them fairly easily by trying to shake them side to side. I don't think they can support a lot of weight because of that. The reclining option is very comfortable and easy to use. The material seems to be durable as well.I will update this review and provide updates on how it holds up over time.Edit: After a few days of use, the screws on the back part became loose and I had to re-tighten them. Will continue to monitor this.Edit after a couple of months of use: The cushioning on this chair is very poor quality in certain areas. The arm rests have very poor low density cushion that has already completely flattened where I rest my arms the most. The seat cushioning was horrible from the start. I had to use a separate cushion to make it comfortable. The cushioning on the seat is not great for long term use at all. The back cushioning seems to be better. The reclining feature has no resistance even at max resistance setting so if you recline on it without the lock you will recline fully very easily. It is not usable as a rocking recliner. You HAVE to lock it in place.I ordered this product on April 26th, I was able to assemble and sit in the chair on May 17th. My order took 21 days to complete on Amazon. When I ordered the chair, I paid an additional $19.99 for shipping and handling, even with my Amazon membership. Notified on April 27th, product had shipped and will arrive between April 30th and May 2nd. The product arrived on May 4th and upon opening the shipment, 1 armrest was missing. I immediately contacted Amazon and requested to remedy the situation with the seller. Spent 3 days going back and forth with the customer service rep of the seller through Amazon, where I was told that they were completely out of extra armrests in their local warehouse and would have to ship an armrest from China. Finally on May, 6th, I accepted their offer to send me a new chair as quickly as possible to make up for this unfortunate situation. Their immediate response was to wait until May 9th to ship a new chair through FedEX, with the shipment finally arriving on May 17th.I like the chair its easy to assemble and comfortable, but if I had to do it over again, I'll just go out to Staples of Office Depot and buy a chair for the convenience and never go through the frustration of dealing with this again. When it comes to buying an office chair I think in terms of decades. It is either going to work the long haul or not. So a new decade and a new chair. This one fits the bill. First leather(ish) chair. I like it. Doesn't make my arse sweaty. Comfortable as all hell. I am 220 lbs, 5'10"... Beer gut. average sized guy in the husky size. It is so comfortable. I'll update year after year how it holds up. Right now it is just lovely! And I don't say that often about many things.I have no complaints about this chair. It is very comfortable to sit on for long periods of time. All of the bolts included have the same hex head size, so it made assembly very easy. The chair is easily adjustable and has a very cool recline feature. I wish it had the ability to raise and lower the armrests, but they seem to be the perfect height anyway. That's a feature I should have looked for before I bought the chair, but it's not an issue. It’s sturdy and comfortable. I’m using it for my home office. The only thing is it lacks the lumbar support, so I had to order a back seat cushion for around $30 to take care of my back/ posture. Overall a great chair. It leans back quite a bit if you want to nod off. Just a tip for future users, when you assemble it, take much heed to Step 8’s instructions: Do NOT tighten the bolts fully (yet). I didn’t pay attention to that step and fully with tightened them to the point that one of the bolt heads was rounded/ stripped. Fortunately I had tightened it so much that I was able to still place the cap over it.
